Dr. Micheal Spencer is the Founder and CEO of His Tabernacle Family Church, based in Horseheads, New York. Established in 1998, the church began with just five people and has grown into a thriving multi-campus ministry with an average weekly attendance of 1,100 in a community of approximately 6,500 people — an extraordinary testimony to sustained spiritual impact and faithful leadership.

Under Dr. Spencer's vision, His Tabernacle Family Church now includes campuses in Horseheads and Ithaca, New York, and provides apostolic leadership, covering, and oversight to churches and ministries both nationally and internationally, including works in:

In 2002, Dr. Spencer founded Remnant Bible College, a ministry training institution recognized for its effectiveness in developing leaders who walk confidently in their God-given calling. The college has equipped pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders who now serve in churches and organizations across the United States and abroad.

Dr. Spencer holds a Master of Theology, a Doctorate of Christian Leadership, and a Doctorate in Theology from Destiny College International. He is also a Certified Coach with Destiny Coaching Group and is John Maxwell Leadership Certified, bringing both spiritual depth and practical leadership training to his ministry and mentorship.

Dr. Spencer was married for 32 years to his beloved late wife, Rhonda, with whom he raised three children — all of whom now serve in full-time ministry. He has since remarried Lucie Spencer, who serves alongside him across multiple areas of ministry and leadership.
